Mooring top chain replacement

Service Description

Price includes replacement of top chain with 30' galvanized 3/8" chain and appropriate hardware. Price assumes heavy bottom chain is long enough to reach the surface without displacing mooring. If heavy bottom chain cannot reach surface, an additional 50% premium applies. Recommended top-chain length is 1.5x water depth. If depth exceeds 20', chain and cost will be prorated. Cost includes submission of annual mooring inspection report to GFNMS. Optional upgrade to longer-lasting 5/8" studlink chain (add $500; may require larger buoy at additional cost)
